“Larry & Kelly” was inspired by a photo Kelly Foyt, Larry Foyt’s wife had posted on social media, taken in celebration of their anniversary. The photo was so moving, I had to attempt a recreation on canvas.

This was my first oil painting, as most of my work is acrylic.

Larry told me it was Kelly’s favorite photo of all the photos taken for that anniversary. It was an honor and true joy to gift this to them both.
