About this Artwork
“Ford vs Ferrari” and “Running of the 917’s” features an iconic era in the history of the 24 Hours at Le Mans.
Ron Evans commissioned the two originals, on 24″ x 48″ canvas. The originals were then professionally scanned by my photographer (a former Honeywell engineer). The high resolution image files were then processed and reproduced on vinyl wall paper and installed by TechniPrint of Phoenix, on the two header walls in the guest lobby of the Vault of Scottsdale.
The public’s first viewing of these massive recreations occured September 21st, 2024.
It was both an honor and pleasure to create the originals and coordinate the completion of this project for Ron & Pam Evans, owners of the Vault of Scottsdale. If you own a treasured car, the Ron & Pam are worthy of entrusting your vehicle with. If you have an event in need of a unique venue experience, the Vault of Scottsdale is just the venue.

Ford vs Ferrari features the 1966 Ford GT developed to conquer LeMans in the 1960’s in concert with Carrol Shelby, and driven by Ken Miles. The beautiful Ferrari P3 was driven by Lorezon Bandini. This was Bandini’s last Lemans.
