“The Three Amigos” was created for my brother from a photograph taken at Culver City. The drivers in this painting were close friends and competitors: 1958 Indy 500 Winner, Jimmy Bryan (#42), Barker Engine creator, Bob Barker (#10), and Dad (#24).

This original is the first monotone I attempted. It was once displayed in the now closed Arizona Open Wheel Racing Museum. The helmet and goggles Dad wore in this race are still with the family.
