“Mudslinger” was inspired by the iconic image of a midget racer, likely from a photo of AJ Foyt in his Bowles Sealfast Special Midget.

One race fan exclaimed upon seeing this painting, “Wow, this really captures what midget racing on a dirt track is all about!”
