Forever Dawn was creaeted for my daughter, Hannah, who’s determination has helped her acheive well beyond what some would have thought. It’s meant to reflect that consistent “I won’t give up” disposition she demonstrates, time and again.

This was my second oil painting, and features an early dawn, desert canyonlands sunrise, meant to capture the essence of the Hebrew phrasing from Genesis, “evening and morning were the first day.” That Biblical phrase suggests that light always overcomes darkness, and each morning is a reminder of that – to never let the rough patches get you down so much that you give up.

The painting reflects Hannah’s tenacity; stubborness converted into a tool of achievement and a no-quit attitude.
